Design Brief
The project focused on creating a bold, minimal goat illustration while maintaining its character and movement. I then used the illustration with strong typography to create a composition following the Fibonacci sequence.
Research
I researched goats by studying their anatomy, posture, silhouette, and recognizable features. I used photos, existing designs, and illustrations to identify which details were most important to preserve.
Initial Sketches
I drew the goat from different angles and experimented with various poses. I focused on understanding its proportions and finding a strong, recognizable silhouette.
Digital Iterations
I created several illustration variations by adjusting proportions, line weight, and solid shapes. Through these iterations, I simplified the design while keeping the goat’s recognizable characteristics.
Visual Development
I simplified the drawing by removing unnecessary details and focusing on the goat’s main contours. I used clean outlines, solid black shapes, and white space to create a simple graphic style while emphasizing key features.
Final Design
The final composition combines a stylized goat illustration with large typography and geometric divisions based on the Fibonacci sequence. The green and gold color palette, diagonal layout, and placement of the elements create strong movement and a distinct visual identity.
